About the Book

To say the Bible is a literary work and hermeneutics must be properly applied begins the mistake, and there are those that take this position. Genre cannot replace the spiritual question of the authority of all Scripture. The Bible is unlike any typical book written by man. It does not present itself to us for verification or as a historical text for examination/questioning, philosophically. It is spiritually and literally perspicuous! Either believe it or  believe it not. That choice is given to every individual: What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?” (I Corinthians 14: 36).

Based upon the current European description of people shown in Bibles and nearly all biblical materials, only black people can ask the question, where are we in the Bible? And the answer to that question is contained in the Holy Scriptures.

Does Color Matter? communicates a biblical value using direct quotes from the bible to explain molecular biologists use of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA); "inherited through the female line, arguing that homo sapiens evolved out of earlier populations in Africa alone."  The book is straightforward with scriptures that unlock and enable students of the Bible and non-students alike, to understand, proclaim and teach a panacea approach, correcting the core and problematic evil scheme, racism, which confronts both GOD's christian community and those of secular wisdom. This anointed Holy Ghost driven material equips believers and non-believers with bedrock biblical truths, unfolding mysteries heretofore, not revealed over against the popular Da Vinci Code fabrications.

About the Author

Clyde C. Coger, Jr. a native of  Dallas, Texas, graduating from Booker T. Washington, High School, 1966, and attending  El Centro Jr. College and the University of Texas at Arlington, studying philosophy as a liberal arts major. He says about his pursuit of a degree, “The study of philosophy was exciting, but remotely, GOD was missing. It was the distance from GOD, brought about from the study of this discipline, which sent me on a journey exploring religion.”

He settled in Memphis, Tennessee, where his home bible study group began, and the launching of Profound Eminent Word Teaching Ministries, in Walls, MS.  Mr. Coger credits GOD's Holy Spirit in directing his footsteps and biblical growth into a written manuscript and published material.

Married to Lurlene Higgenbottom, of Cold Water, MS, Mr. Coger has four biological children (a previous marriage), three step-children and five beautiful grand children and considers himself simply a “man of the pew” that to GOD be the glory!
