When you first came through my door,
My heart felt something
That it never felt before.
There was a sweet sensation,
A perfect revelation
Through my body and soul.
That I feel to this very day
If ever something was meant to be
It was you together with me.
I’m forever glad that I met you,
My every breathe in life is for you.
When my heart beats, it beats for two.
Without you now in my life,
I’m without my heart and soul.
I’m without the one I need with me,
To share in all the joy and all the sorrows.
For you my wife, I’d give all my tomorrows.
I’ll forever be glad you loved me.
Forever glad that you were mine,
For longer than the stars can shine.
Longer than the sun remains in the sky.
Because even though you’re with me no longer
My love for you grows, forever stronger.
Though I will always miss you so very much,
And losing you will keep me forever sad.

About the Book
After my wife Theresa passed on
I moved from
We moved to be closer to my daughter
Melissa and my two grandchildren Jalen and Justin
I wanted to do something in my wife’s memory
So I decided to write a song
I hadn’t written anything since high school
And that was about thirty-five years ago
Well one song turned into about ninety poems
I hope I can do justice to my wonderful wife’s memory
As I tried to express in words how I feel about her
Without all the strength and love she gave me over the years
This book would not have been possible
I want to thank my daughter Melissa and my son Keith
For keeping me afloat when I was drowning in tears
I also want to thank my two sisters Debbie and Mary
For their love and support through out this tragic ordeal
I will forever have tears for the women I love with all my heart
I love you Theresa with all my heart!
