About the Author

Jerry Lyons lives and writes in Central Oregon where athletic opportunities abound and an active outdoor lifestyle seems to be a requirement. A father of two, he is often found at the pool, on the ski slopes or cycling in the Cascade Mountains.

Cary Leeds was a world class athlete, a fine runner, golfer, swimmer, but his tennis credentials stand out. He was a Yale University tennis star and a Wimbledon semi-finalist with a world ranking. He was an athlete’s athlete, a charismatic sportsman everyone wanted to be with.
