About the Book

SNOOP AND SNIFFLY WIFFLY – THE TALE OF TWO HEDGEHOGS

Snoop and Sniffly Wiffly is the tale of two hedgehogs that are rehomed from one of the Scottish islands who move to the English countryside.  It is a charming book that teaches children about the habitat of Britain’s only spiny mammal, the hedgehog.  The story is tinged with both fiction and non-fiction characters.  The factual information is well researched and is appropriate for six to nine year-olds.

This is the first book in the "Children's Book of Wildlife Stories" series.

About the Author

Gaynor Hounslow was born in Herefordshire, England, but at a young age, she left to grow up in Cameroon, Kenya and South Africa.

She was educated at an Afrikaans school in the winelands of Paarl, South Africa.  She was a brilliant biology and art student. As a youngster, she always wanted to be a veterinarian, but she instead became a successful event and marketing manager, a career which has allowed her to travel globally to work on some of the most prestigious events ever held.

She began writing about wild animals and fairies as a young girl.  Her children's stories are educational but unusual, as they are a combination of both fiction and non-fiction characters.

Gaynor lives in the Chilterns, Buckinghamshire, England.   She has a passion for wild animals, nature and everything that is naturally beautiful.

She has a strong belief that all children in the world have the right to an education, to broaden their horizons and understand life.
