About the Author

Other than her family, Della May Olson’s first great love in her life was a horse named Sally Surprise. From there she grew to love everything western which she now writes about with zest and admiration. Deeply Christian, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she instils Christian values in her works. A recipient of a Valedictorian award from Mesa Community College in Mesa, Arizona at the age of thirty-nine, she has also received awards for her poetry, road shows, and humorous readings. She now lives near her four children and their families in Cottonwood, Arizona. She has fifteen grandchildren and forty-two great grandchildren.
