Back in the catacombs of Florence, Italy, Emma was searching the maze trying to find a way out when she found a well and saw something glimmering at the bottom of the well. Emma slipped on a puddle of water and fell into the well. Emma tried to grab the side of the well to grip herself when she felt a piece of paper instead. The piece of paper was an invitation. The invitation spoke, “Invitation has been accepted.” A portal to the dragon world opened up and Emma fell into it as it closed. The portal started to open in the dragon world, but it’s energy was mysteriously diverted. The portal opened up in the forest area of Longwitton, England in the year 1765. Emma looked around shocked as she noticed that her dark tan wrist band had returned to her wrist and activated its special ability. Emma’s dark tan wrist band’s special ability allows her to learn one power from each person that she shares a cell phone connection with. Emma felt woozy when she looked around and saw no civilization. Then Emma noticed that the air smelled fresher as she looked around again. After walking in the forest for over an hour, Emma finally figured it out. Emma said, “Oh my god I used time travel, but how, unless I learned this power from NaTavis." Emma watched a knight ride by in a suit of armor on a horse at full speed a moment later. Emma thought, “Which way is civilization?” Emma said, “I’m going to regret this.” Emma started running after the knight and horse. After a little while, Emma got tired of following the hoof prints and sat down to take a rest. Soon she had fallen asleep next to a tall shady tree. Emma didn’t notice that a beast of unknown origin had walked past her. An hour later as Emma had begun to dream, she woke up to the clanking noise of the knight’s armor. The knight came to a sudden stop when he saw Emma relaxing next to a tree when the knight asked, “Are you okay my lady?” Emma noticed that the knight’s voice was muffled due to his helmet and him being out of breath. Emma asked, “Can you take off your helmet?” The knight took it off and asked, “Are you okay my lady?” Emma stood up replying, “I’m good just a little tired. Hey, where is civilization?” The knight became confused as he asked, “Where art thou from?” Emma asked back, “What makes you think that I’m not from around here?” The knight replied, “You’re clean and you’re wearing strange undergarments.” Emma looked down at her clothes replying, “Oh you mean my pants.” Emma leaned in and gave the knight a peck on the cheek while saying with a smile, “You’re sweet to notice my pants they were on sale 30% percent off.” The knight knew the strangely dressed girl would not last long by herself so he decided to take Emma with him.

NaTavis’s little sister, Tracy, has the power to grant wishes. NaTavis makes a wish to go home, not knowing that his home is not real and only in his mind. Tracy’s power to grant wishes does something unexpected, and it starts bleeding multiple parallel worlds into their world. Many of the heroes of their world lose their powers as a result of this. So to stabilize the new world that’s being created, a young woman named Carol enacts a tournament to keep all people and parties in check. Little does she know, her actions and NaTavis’s failed wish starts a whole chain of events that causes thousands of people, aliens, and beings to start coming together in what they hope will be a very interesting future.
About the Author
When I was seven, I got lost in the woods behind the trailer park I was living in. It took me several hours to get home, and I felt like strange lights were following me. When I got home and told my parents about the experience, they did what parents do—they dismissed it. That never happened again, but it always made me wonder. What’s really out there? Is anything out there, and what would happen if instead of it finding us, what if we went and found it? I have never been able to shake the experience from my mind, and when I grew up, I figured I might as well write about it. If you can’t believe me in the real world, maybe someone can in the fantasy world. Daniel McClean, 33, was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and loves pop music, anime, swords, axes, collectibles, and any movie with a happy ending. He isn’t fond of endless political babble or living in Dallas, Texas.
