About the Author
Valerie Larwick spent many years in Emergency Medicine and education. She enjoyed the magical chapter of raising two beautiful children, Chris and Jennifer. Valerie Larwick now embraces the opportunity to wipe the dust from old stories half written and carry them to completion. Her niche is creating in oil painting, fine sketching, designing new concepts in art, and writing. She now resides along side her husband Dave and forest denizen in the middle of a heavily wooded tree farm in the great Northwest. Her family has grown to include three step sons and three beautiful daughter in-laws, along with two (for now) grandchildren. Her goal is to open the hidden door of imagination in every child's heart with her stories. Her style is feathered with rhyme and polished with a unique realm of childhood dreams and ideas. Her grandchildren spend time, playing, walking through the forested tree farm, and sharing in her imaginative art and rhymes of animals and creatures of the woods.
