Like drops of rain, I dissolve into a shallow smear of precipitated form of tears. Never wanting to be disposed, I hide. I hide into an organized line of disciplined, altered to deceive those who examine me. Always afraid of the scrutiny that would follow if the truth was ever revealed. If only they knew the truth. I hide- in fear that one day- I will completely fall apart and like a celebrity Judged, juried, and condemned - all in one observation, without any regard for the truth. I hide from the hurt that haunts my heart daily. Suppressed, bottled up torment in every conceivable way. I hide from the possibility that someone could or would actually love me for who I truly am. I hide in fear that even I am not aware of who that is. My anxiety and paranoia has paralyzed me into a vegetative state. I struggle relentlessly to triumph over my approach to suicide. Yet compliance to this sentiment of dissipation panics me to the point -that- if I am unsuccessful, the weight of my soul- would still linger. There are times when I hide from my own character. Disturbed about never being able to display equivalency- to the philosophy of life --that come so organically to others. Shielding my true composure - intimidated by the fact that I am adversely unique. I hide from the fact that in so many areas, I feel like a failure in life. I am caged by my childhood rage of senseless abuse. I once thought that I would overcome all of this pain- yet the reality is it lives with me forever. How will I be able to hide this latest horror of deceit? As I look around me I try my best to get in where I fit in. How long will I be able to hide?

About the Author
Currently I am a small business owner, licensed in the state of Florida as an Agent/Broker, formally licensed in the state of Georgia to sell Life, Health and Annuity products. I am married to my wonderful, supporting husband Andre Green where he and I reside in Tampa Florida, alongside our handsome son John. We previously resided in Jacksonville, Florida, but desired a change. My purpose for writing this particular novel is” I am a true lover of romance”. Life brings so many uncertainties, yet with God, all things are possible. So many of us have inner insecurities that we hide in an effort to fit in with the normal. Whatever that is. I say, it is more important to be who you are “In Truth”, and the rest of the world has no other option but to take you or leave you. My Husband Andre taught me this valuable lesson. True loves seeks acceptance, not perfection. He accepts me with all of my flaws, insecurities, and supports “The Me”, that I desire to become. He helps me daily, to see the beauty that God gave me (inside and out). I was much like Lisa (the character in this novel); unsure of myself, afraid that love would never immerse favorable, and always worried about what others would think if they truly knew my inner being. I thank God for loving me enough to give me someone to teach me different. I am an author who also loves to read. My hope for you “my readers” is that this book takes you to a place outside of your everyday life. I hope you get lost in this book, fall in love with the characters, and visualize each chapter as if you were there. I look forward to many more writing projects to come, along with the sequel to “Silent Screams”. It has been a journey and a true pleasure writing this novel.
