About the Book

From Wrags to Ritches is a true story about a teenage mother, who becomes pregnant at sixteen and drops out of school. She marries her high school sweetheart and became pregnant with their first child, but lost the baby due to a miscarriage. They moved from Mississippi to Tennessee in search of a better life and to start a family. She falls prey to poverty, teenage pregnancy, domestic violence, alcohol, drugs, sexual and mental abuse, which entrapped her family into a complex cycle of dark family secrets and generational curses. The youngest daughter, determined not to be influenced by her mother's bad experiences, uses her mother's tragic life, as a road map to break the generational curses. She ultimately finds a shocking new twist of a spiritual enigma to breakthrough and conquers the reoccurring cycles of dysfunctional generational curses. She overcomes the lifestyle of poverty and discovers a rich and rewarding life.
