Approximately seven years ago, while working for one of the major telecommunication companies, as I was at my desk the Lord told me to write a book. Shortly after this awesome encounter, I walked by a coworker’s desk and asked her for a leaf of a yellow note pad that was on her desk. To my surprise, the note pad confirmed my assignment. There was a drawing of a flash of lightening on the top left hand corner and on the sheet was written, "From The Desk Of God". The sheet was shaped like a book. That occasion was the first and also the last time I saw one of those types of note pad. I knew that part of the name would be close encounters with God when I originally got the mandate to write. Now, on October 5, 1997, I have been given the second half of the name, "I Know That My Redeemer Lives", and the permission to write.
This book will not have sermons; only close encounters that I personally experienced with the Lord my God that give me the boldness to say emphatically, "I know that my Redeemer lives, and that He shall come on the last day." The Holy Spirit woke me at 5:30 am on Sunday May 5, 1997 and told me now is the time to start writing the book which I was instructed to write many years ago.

About the Book
In writing the book, I Know That My Redeemer Lives, Linda Ewers desires to share Close Encounters that she has experienced by the power of The Holy Spirit. It is her sole desire to speak to the doubting people, saints and sinners alike, to increase their awareness to the fact that Our God is as close as the breath we breathe. He talks to us daily, hourly, minutely and even by the second. The problem is not that God is not talking to us, but that we are not listening to Him.
The book, I Know That My Redeemer Lives is birthed from a lifetime of serving the Almighty Lord; a lifestyle of prayer, fasting, and communion with the Lord. The Lord chooses to communicate morning, noon or night through His Word (The Bible), silently through thoughts in the mind, through dreams and visions, by sending angels, and through circumstances. This author has invited God to rule and reign in her life and, after reading this book, you too will want God to be the Ruler of your heart and soul.
About the Author
Linda Ewers has been in contact with the Holy Spirit since her baptism at age seven and is currently in the process of establishing The House of Refuge Ministry. Her revelations about life and our existence, as heard through prophetic visions and dreams, will astound and encourage you to live a life knowing that The Redeemer God lives inside you.
Linda Ewers holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University in New Jersey and a master’s degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. She currently resides in Florida with her husband and youngest daughter, Paula.
