About the Book

Pc Penny Farthing is a mother of 4 children 2 teenage boys and twin girls. Penny is a community police officer working within the area she lives. She takes her daughters to school and continues her journey to work. Today she is teaching the young children at Newtown primary school how to keep safe when out within the community and what to do if they get lost. A short while later Jenny is out with her mummy and gets lost. Luckily Jenny listened to what Pc Penny told her to do if she gets lost and she eventually finds her mummy with the help of the security guards. Jenny learnt a valuable lesson and listening to Pc Penny kept her safe.

About the Author

Wendy Roberts is a mother of 4 children, two grown up boys and twin 6 year old daughters. Wendy is a community police officer working for the Staffordshire police force and has done so for the last 10 years. With the vast experience of bringing up 4 children and the experience Wendy had obtained over the years of policing different areas within Staffordshire she has relised that there are adventures to be read about involving her everyday experiences. Wendy realised that during her work there are not many teaching aids to assist her when going into the schools and communities in general. After reading so many childrens books to her children over the years Wendy decided that she was sure she too could write exciting stories about a police officer just like her which she has done. Wendy has found the ideal illustrator in Amy Bradley who has completed excellent drawings which fit Wendy's character perfectly. The stories are endless along with the enthusiasm of both writer and illustrator. There are many more adventures to come!
