"Mr. Jenkins saw the opportunity to chase a dream and visioned his imagination and thoughts. Oh what a wonderful world. Jenkin's family packed up and joined up with a wagon train to travel across the country to search for a better life that landed them directly into the palms of rich and powerful plantation owners, where constantly long hours and hard field work was a daily routine with very little value for the hard working field hands. Mr. Jenkins made a decision to give the hand of his young teenage daughter to an older abusive man in exchange for a few farm animals. Gossip spread around the plantation, the house worker would hear the boss talking about personal information, and it would spread across the plantation like a forest fire. Man destroys each other, some people destroy each other out of anger, and others do it for profit. Controlling a person's mind is a sure way to destroy their self-esteem. Mind blowing control substance is the leading cause of human failure, torn between two lovers in love with two women. One beautiful, exciting, and understanding. While the other one was hard working, loving and innocent. I chose one for my wife, did I make the right choice?

About the Book
This book is about the history of my family and where they generated. I basically focused on my life, starting from my childhood and throughout my teenage life. I talked about myself as an adult, marriage, children, and where I am now.
About the Author
I, Elwood Ware was born in 1954 in Yazoo City, Mississippi. I now reside in Harvey, Illinois. I grew up on a cotton plantation doing everything from cotton-picking to gathering pecans. During that time people of color cried out thru prayer for help, wondering if a change will come. It was a challenge, just to get the little help that was available. I was not properly educated. At that time, learning was not a major factor.
I was married in 1983. I have two children from that marriage. I began writing this book in 1984.
I am a single parent, raising my two children, one daughter and one son, in Harvey, Illinois. I devote my time to working a full time job and utilizing my writing skills.
