I was born and raised in the tiny town of Spur, Texas and have never strayed far from the Texas boundaries. I gave my heart and soul to Jesus Christ at the age of 10 but it was only some 10 years ago that I gave my life entirely to God. I am thankful for His patience and continued love for me and honored that He has chosen me as His typist for putting His Words into stories. My husband and I are 65 years of age and have lived in Matador, Texas for most of our married years. We have three grown children and three grandchildren and are blessed to be able to watch them mature into responsible adults.
Water is just as vital to our spiritual existence as it is to our physical existence. The body is 2/3 water and when a person loses more fluid than they take in it causes dehydration. If you ignore your thirst, dehydration can slow you down. Small decreases do not cause immediate serious problems and in most cases go completely unnoticed. Thirst is the best and earliest indicator of the problem and as the condition progresses more of the body is affected. So then is the Body of Christ. If one part suffers every part suffers with it. To counter dehydration you need to restore the proper balance of water in your body. To counter spiritual dehydration you need the balance of holy living in your life. God assures us that this balance works together for the good of those who love the Lord. Would you pass a fountain is you were suffering from thirst? Will you pass the fountain of pure clear water of the scripture and die of spiritual thirst?
