My enthusiasm for life has been strength for me. I embrace each day. I am glad I am able to do that. Someone recently said to me, “I admire how you never give up!” I was touched by that comment, but I was also a little puzzled. What choice do I have? My dad is dead! My son is sick! My mom is gone! What choice do I have? If I don’t embrace each day, what message am I sending to my boys? What environment am I creating for my husband? What kind of friend would I be? More importantly, what kind of Christian would I be? Believing that I will see my parents again and knowing that God will take care of my son and our family, why would I not rejoice and celebrate each day?

About the Book
The Journey is a day to day chronicling of a life filled with faith. Each and every one of us experience joy, sorrow, pain, misfortune and triumph. No matter what the experience, there is always hope! This story focuses on the strength and confidence that develops through adversities.
Follow through the trials and tribulations of a woman’s daily life to see how she develops from the person she was to the person she is becoming. The journey of a woman growing in faith while facing challenges many of us could never imagine. As passionately as she lives her life, she reveals her fears, dreams and securities in her journal entries which are shared in this book.
About the Author
Lori Todaro is a wife and mother of four sons. She was also the only child of two amazing parents. Through adversity she has developed into a confident woman of faith who believes there is good in every situation. Experiencing the drowning death of her father, her Mother’s long illness and death, and taking care of her son who has a chronic illness, Lori has become determined to reach out to others. In her journal entries she tells how she manages to stay strong and believe the best no matter what challenges she faces. Lori hopes her story will encourage others to always be their very best and to go the extra mile for someone else. Above all, to never take anything for granted. She is honored to share her personal story and hopes to touch a life.
