Unlike my father, my brother Paul worked hard to support and take care of his family. It was rumored that the woman he married had been involved with father. There were different people in town, each with a special look about themselves. After a while it got harder and harder for father to make ends meet. I hated my father for leaving mother with all the pressure. Mrs. Kay met a man, and he became her boyfriend. She got pregnant by him and they had a beautiful little girl. One afternoon he took Mrs. Kay somewhere, and when he brought her back home, my mother, brothers and sisters, and I heard the sound of suffering and moaning.
