Robin Ann Powell was born in Queens, New York. Throughout her youth she experienced many health problems. Her thirst for spirituality began in her twenties that led her to an ancient teaching which helped her become closely connected to divine spirit through the practice of spiritual exercises. At this time she learnt that there was a way to relieve pain and heal the body through the use of medicinal herbs.
In December, 1998 in contemplation, Tara, her Angel appeared and healed her reoccurring Kidney infection. Robin became a minister in 1987, and one of her missions is to convey to everyone that Angels do exist. This she feels will bring to their hearts more inner freedom, wisdom and love.
The workday is coming to an end, it is the weekend of the dinner dance, and I am excited. Tonight, we are going to find a special white dress for the Angel occasion. Since it is 7:00 PM, and the stores close in a few hours, I’ll sit down, get quiet within, and ask Tara, “Where we can go to get such a lovely dress?” By closing my eyes and calming down, I hear her response.
What came to my inner vision, was a store in the mall where I used to work. Since I had never shopped there, I was not sure of the merchandise, but thought I would give it a try. When we arrived at the store, we were pleased to see many white dresses, but they didn’t have my size. We left and hurried through the rest of the mall, still seeking a white Angel dress. There wasn’t one white dress in all the stores we roamed through! We headed back to the original store, and I asked the saleswoman, “Please help find a small size for me.” Miracles do occur; she found one that I hadn’t seen before! It was gorgeous, and simply made for me by my Angel, Tara.
While we were paying for it, I noticed a plaque on the wall. Its message said, “Where there is hope, there is always an Angel by your side.” I felt Tara’s presence and felt enormous joy. I went over to share my Angel experience with the owner. He is a disabled man in a wheelchair, and I thought he would enjoy hearing how Tara recommended his store as the place where I would find my dress. While I was telling him about the experience, his heart filled up with more light and love. He is an amazing man, even through his disability; he is full of positive energy, and filled with attributes that we all admire.
