Olio Aglio, translated means literally "oil, garlic". It is an Italian cookbook created specifically for Celiacs and those following a gluten free diet. The journey was a two-month figure eight across the country of Italy beginning in Trentino- Alto Adige, on to Tuscany, Puglia and then over to Sicily.
The recipes, representations of the seasonal fruits and vegetables found near and on the farms, are split into four categories based on the four regions: Trentino-Alto Adige is full of hearty meals, Tuscany has many fresh oil and wine based recipes, Puglia has the seafood, and Sicily wraps it together with delicious desserts.
The recipes collected are just a small sample of what the country has to offer. I need to return to collect more! This book is just the beginning!
