Choosing Your Royalty Rate
Because you choose your royalty rate when you publish with AuthorHouse, you have the power to set the selling price of your book. The price of your book depends on five variables: the size of your book, cover type (softcover or dust jacket), final page count, where the book is purchased, and the royalty percentage you choose. The following tables provide some common pricing scenarios:

At AuthorHouse, we calculate royalties from the suggested retail price of your book; we never charge for any additional printing costs, administrative fees, or retailer discounts. You’ll regularly receive royalties from sales through AuthorHouse and retail outlets.
Volume Discount
As an AuthorHouse author, you can also purchase copies of your book from us at a discounted price. The exact discount is determined by your page count, book price, and the quantity of your order. Orders for quantities of 100 or more (50 or more for color books) are considered volume orders and receive a greater discount determined by the total number of books ordered.
