QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF
estate planning
Do you know your net worth?
Have you organized your assets?
Why is this necessary?
Who do I wish to receive my assets?
What information do I need to document?
EXECUTOR’S GUIDE
What does it mean to be an executor?
What is involved in being an executor?
Who should I choose as my executor?
Does my executor have access to all of my documentation?
Does my executor know and understand all of my wishes?
I am attempting to assist people from my personal knowledge and research material into the subject of Estate Planning and Executor Guide. (What it means; what’s involved; and its process.)
Hopefully in some small way this workbook will assist you in your estate planning or if nothing else…”Make you stop and think…..I have to do this. No more putting it off.”
Secondly I hope it will make you aware of the responsibilities and the commitment that he/ she needs to be informed of prior to accepting the position of becoming your executor.
As they say, “Planning is the key to success”, in processing all that needs to be done in order to allow for a smooth transition in processing a person’s estate.
My attempt in laying out this information workbook is to enable you to see what is indeed there, what needs to be there and what amendments you want to make, before seeing a lawyer to have your requests legally documented as your Last Will and Testament.
One last item I wish to bring to light about myself is that I have written two books. The first book published was a tribute to my wife that I had lost in 2004. The book title is, Now You Have Her… Now You Don’t. The second book was entitled, That Single Moment, which again deals with the loss of loved ones.
