Karen M. Talarico RN, MSN
Karen grew up and lived in Central New York for 35 years. She currently resides in North Florida, where she raised her three children.
Karen has a background in critical care nursing. A 1979 graduate of MVCC in Utica, New York, she earned her AAS in Nursing. She now holds a Masters Degree in Nursing from the University of South Florida.
Karen is currently working on her second career in writing. She has been writing as a hobby for over 30 years and has had professional nursing articles published. Josie's Recipe Collection and her "Two Little Boys and a Baby Collection" are the results of her love of writing. Her next literary project is to publish her volumes of poetry.
One rainy day my little brother Dan and I were fighting. We hit each other with our hands instead of playing together nicely. My Grandma GiGi said that hands are not for hitting.
GiGi said we should always try and do good things with our hands. Instead of hitting each other, she told us some good things that we could do with our hands…
