Come and experience voyages of discovery and revelation from the imagination of Chris Parisi, as we venture on trips of the inner soul and the outer worlds.

v      Escape the onslaught of a Martian sand storm with an asteroid miner as she hikes the Cydonian Face of Mars…

v      Race between seasons of deadly cold and blistering heat with descendents of survivors from Earth’s devastating encounter centuries earlier with a rogue black hole…

v      Journey with the Free Trader kinship Antares Sapphire from the fringes of Known Space to the stellar nurseries of Orion …

v      Jog down memory lane with a marathoner decades after his last high-school race…

v      And discover the first extraterrestrial life with a repair crew in the chaotic winds of Jupiter’s atmosphere.

These and more are found within, a sifting of Parisi’s best fiction and science-fiction stories from the historic hills of Earth to planets and places within and without our Solar System.

Born in Tucson, Arizona, Chris’ family relocated to Upstate New York soon after. Chris escaped what seemed like the highest average snowfall in the country by reading every science-fiction piece he could lay his hands on. Inspired, he began writing his own.

An enthusiastic runner, Chris lettered in cross-country running before moving to Boston. He has run the Boston Marathon twice, and claims truthfully that he was ‘tied with the Kenyans right up until the very start of the race!’ Chris still occasionally circles the Charles River paths.

Still in Boston, Chris is an avid Celtics fan, taking pleasure in their triumph over the Los Angeles Lakers for their record 17th NBA championship. His family is scattered about the East Coast - his son, daughter-in-law and sister in New York City, with his parents still shivering by choice back home in Rochester.

A consultant in the Healthcare Information Technology industry, Chris is working to make healthcare better and safer for our families and our future generations.

Chris continues to write. Look for his upcoming novel, “Smoke Under the Water”, coming soon.

Buckcherry could see the mouth of the chimney still many meters above her, the Martian sky reddening the opening as the sun approached its zenith, but the climb was made easier by the abundance of hand and foot holds.

Far below, her rig’s GPS started blinking as sandstorm warnings for Buckcherry’s area were received.

“… and come it did, the Rogue they did call it,” the old man, brown and leathered like salted jerky, recited to his audience.

“Right through the heart of Jupe, so they did tell, those that watched the skies and knew these things. Between Jupe and the Red One, through the clouds of Sky Rocks.” A brown, weathered arm pointed to the clouded sky, and the young, wide eyes followed.

“And then came the First Burn as Summertime Rolled, and the world shook and burned and broke, and the seas came into the land.” The Librarian’s voice grew deep and dark, shaking the young ones who shivered in its hold.
