Between 1939 and 1960 three superpowers began a research project unknown to the rest of the world.  Only a chosen few were to take part.  So secretive was this research that the findings of each day, month and year were kept to only the nucleus of the research scientist that were participating.  They were involved with a process unheard of that no one understood.  Genetics, D.N.A., Replication.  Failures and success evolved but as time went on the project was stopped.  No one knows the reason why.  Location, books, research papers and formulas disapeared, left to vanish in a location that time would forget.

fact or fiction, no one will really ever know except for a few.

Surprisingly the snow was light and fluffy, easy to walk through. Going down the trail Cowboy yelled to Bonnie, "Stop here for a minute. We'll try to pick up a signal from the cubs."  Bonnie called on the radio to Larissa to see if she saw anything at the cave area."I don't see them yet." she replied. "Hum,that's funny." Cowboy said. "What is it?" Bonnie asked. I have a signal down the trail where the trees are and then I get another signal up towards the trail that leads up." She came over and tried, as she turned the antennae she also picked up a signal from below and then above. "You know what? I bet one of the cubs has either gotten lost or seperated from the pride and that is the signal we are recieving from down there."  "You are probably right and I'll bet it is Pakak that is down there." He said shaking his head. "Well let's go down and see who it is .  We have to get through the trees anyhow before heading up."  Cowboy took the lead as Bonnie followed.

As Cowboy walked down towards the bottom , standing about twenty yards away from the thickets of pines, there stood Pakak.  He saw Cowboy and did his usual growl but not aggressively. Bonnie came up behind Cowboy. "Look!" he said as he pointed to the cub.  Bonnie laughed. "What do we do now?" she asked as Pakak started walking towards them.  What happened next happened so fast.  The trees down in front of Cowboy exploded in a burst of snow.  Pakak jumped and tried to run.  Cowboy was caught off guard.  The big grizzly came charging out of the thicket all six hundred pounds of him heading straight at the cub and Cowboy.  Bonnie screamed and slipped.  Cowboy tried to get his gun out of his holster thinking the bear was going after Pakak but it was Cowboy who he was charging.  The big bear ran over Pakak and was onto Cowboy before he could  get his gun out.  He knocked Cowboy down into the snow.  Bonnie was screaming for Cowboy to get out of there.  Cowboy started to get up, the bear swiped at him hitting him in the head and shoulder, knocking him down a small ravine with the grizzly right on top of him.  Cowboy felt the bear bite him in the buttock picking him up and tossing him like a twig. There was pain and numbness.  Bonnie was screaming for Cowboy to use his gun.  Cowboy tried to look and see where the bear was but a reddish tint was all he could see.  He knew if he could not get to his gun the bear would finish him off and go after Bonnie.  The bear walked around Cowboy very slowly sensing he was dead the bear suddenly turned and charged Bonnie.  She was defenseless and could not move.  As the bear charged up the hill and was almost on top of her there was a loud deafening roar.  All Bonnie saw was the bear topple over and Suka on top of him. A long time ago when Suka was smaller he and this bear tangled.  Both walked away from that battle, but this time Suka was much bigger.  It ended almost as soon as it started.  Suka bit into the back of the bears neck and skull crushing it.
