This book not only can teach young children to count and notice some rhyming, but it can also be an inspirational book. This book aims to make children be aware of their surroundings, such as the importance of the smallest ecosystem in a yard or flower garden with animals and insects.

About the Author

Phyllis Monaco is a self-taught painter with a BA in psychology and early childhood. She has a well-versed background working with children for over 20 years – whether it be a one-on-one special education aid, kindergarten teacher’s assistant, or preschool teacher for underprivileged children. The children she’s met throughout her career made her realize she wanted to continue to impact kids long after she’s able to teach, inspiring her to write and illustrate children’s books. Phyllis spends a lot of time in her garden, and even more time with her two dogs, grand-dog, and cat.
