The fictional Professor McTavish is a prolific inventor. Living in the small town of Plumpton, his only desire is to help his friends and neighbors with his inventions. However, things never seem to work out the way he intended, with hilarious results. Follow the professor as he meets real scientists and historical figures, gathering inspiration for his own misadventurous adaptations of their discoveries.

About the Author

Nick Gillard was born and bred in Guildford, Surrey. Working as a gardener he has plenty of time to imagine stories and create poems as he tends the plants and shrubs in his care. Working first hand with nature in this way has led him to deeply consider the wonders of the natural world and beyond.
