Brothers Forever is the last of The Brothers Series, a Historical Fiction account of the life of two brothers who struggle with Roman occupation and Jewish politics during the first century. Encounters with Jesus, violent Zealots, devastating disease and love are woven through their lives like a tapestry of the times. Brothers Forever follows the brothers, Enoch and Simeon, from Rome to Jerusalem in an effort to save Jerusalem from certain destruction. Titus, Josephus and the Essenes play a critical part in the siege of the City on a Hill. What fate awaits these distinguished men and their Christian brothers and sisters?

About the Author

Ronald Hera writes Historical Fiction set in first century Israel. Ronald is a Christian and works with missions to promote the faith. His Brothers Series includes, Bethlehem’s Brothers, Jerusalem’s Brothers and now Brothers Forever, the last of the series. His purpose is to paint a canvas of the times by following Enoch and Simeon through their eighty-year lifetime from their first encounter with Roman Mercenaries in Bethlehem as children in Bethlehem’s Brothers, to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. in Brothers Forever. As they encounter other believers, like Paul, Matthew and even Jesus himself, their struggle to maintain their own faith and then accepting the offensive Gentiles is overwhelming at times. Ronald sees the same conflicts as non-believers and believers alike struggle with the question of their own faith. He hopes you will be entertained, challenged and touched by these men’s lives.
