About the Author
I am R. D. McKown, a sixty-five-year-old man recently retired from my previous job. I began writing stories in the seventh grade and have been on and off since then. I’ve never been published before. I have held various jobs in the past: being a psychiatric technician, working with the criminally insane, being an alcohol/drug counselor, and being a security officer. I’m living in Kansas now, where I moved back from California. As a child, I grew up in Kansas. I’m a country-life quitter, and I give myself time to vent my imagination. Me and my significant other, Marie, are animal rescuers. We are loaded down with various cats, dogs, and two pigeons. Besides writing, I like to go fishing and going to the gun range for practice. This book is a diverse set of tales in different genres, and I hope its sparks the greatest interest and enjoyment to my readers about the unimaginable.
