About the Book

Children are curious and attentive to their surroundings. They observe and have questions even though they may not ask! The subject of death of a loved one like grandparents should not be a taboo or a hidden event with mysterious disappearance of the person! Children need to know as much as they can absorb and not more. This book might be a conversation starter to be used in similar situations. It is written and illustrated by a pediatrician with special interest in child development and behavior. All the proceeds of this book will be used to fund Grasp Foundation and its goals! About the Author

Sara Parvinian is a pediatrician. A mother of two adult children and a grandmother of two little girls. In addition to children she loves to write and to paint, sketch and read. Her special interest as a paediatrician is children’s development and behaviour and children with special needs. As a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (national and the Illinois chapter) and a champion of Medical Home she feels responsible in providing a full circle of healthy environment for children under her care. As an advocate for children with special needs and founder of GRASP foundation she is a supportive factor in Individualized Education Program (IEP) at local schools. Sara lives with her husband in Libertyville, Illinois.
