The family was glad the daylight had come; they were about out of ammunition. Apparently that's what made the little men leave; they didn't like the light. That was the only rational explanation they could come up with. Lucky told everyone they needed to forget this ever happened and that they needed to continue on with their everyday lives. In fact some of the men went to Evansville that morning to pick up some furniture. Lucky had seen the night before how people were making fun of the situation just minutes after they arrived, he knew that no good was going to come in bringing this up. He believed- keep it quiet and they would be alright and it would all be forgotten. That was not going to happen.

About the Author
Geraldine Sutton Stith was born in Kelly, Kentucky, where the green men incident occurred. Geraldine was living a normal life until that fateful day when reporters came to her house to interview her father about the family’s dark secret. As time has passed, the incident has become more of a normal part of life, and now the story is actually helping the community of Kelly. The fear is still there; it always will be. Geraldine now lives in Princeton, Kentucky, with her husband, Chris, enjoying quiet country living and their many cats.
