About the Book
The Testimony Of A Lost Soul is a collection of poems which reflect my life. A life that has been a long road. It's a collection of a broken, painful past, and the bad choices I have made along the way. Yet, I have found a quasi peace as time goes by. As it's said, "Time heals all wounds."
About the Author
On March 9, 1975, I was born with a silver pen in my hand. My parents raised me to appreciate the arts, writing, music (from classical to rock), painting, and drawing. At the age of five, I was already playing chess. In my earliest years, I won awards for my poetry and writing skills. I have been writing poetry since the age of nine. My parents divorced when I was eight. I won’t go into detail, but it was messy. Writing and drawing became my sane outlet. I also suffer from paranoid schizophrenia, severe depression, and severe anxiety. These diseases like to help me in my poetry. You will see examples of them in my work as in my first book, CALVIN 1208. You may laugh, but I also write through those who have passed on. Most of my work is attributed to them. It is my goal to write till I die and to reach those also afflicted with mental illness.
