Today is the worst day of Steven James' life. He gets in trouble for everything that he does. His homework is all wrong, he misplaces things, and he causes his class to lose the kickball game. To top it all off his teacher, Mrs. Jones, does the one thing that every kid dreads. She calls his mom to figure out why he can't pay attention.

About the Author

As a third generation teacher, the further desire to make an impact on children's lives is what made Stephanie J. Evans, M.A. become a children's book author. She was born in Atlanta, GA, and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She draws her will to inspire children through real life experiences as a child and present day classroom chuckles. Most of her inspiration stems from her growing up with an older brother, who suffered from Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
