MY PURPOSE: “Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth”. (Romans 9:17). As I matured in Christ over the years, I discovered the true meaning of my purpose. Purpose can be defined as: A goal of an action intentionally undertaken. What is my purpose? What did God place me on this earth to do? What is it going to take to catapult me into my God-given purpose? These are questions I often asked myself and God time and time again, initially not fully understanding it all for it would all be revealed unto me in His timing. What I discovered and knew without a doubt while writing this book was that my sole purpose for living and writing this book was to give God glory. It was my heart’s desire to share with the world His goodness and to tell the whole world how He alone kept me on my spiritual journey. God took me to and through a God-ordained process to reach my destiny. The only thing that was required of me to obtain it was total obedience to God. Throughout my journey, my disobedience to God cost me some things, in fact it cost me many things, and made what was supposed to be an 11-day journey take what seemed like 40 years as I wandered on and off the path that He had set before me to follow. Yet, because of His grace and His mercy, I did not miss the mark and most importantly I did not miss God.

In 1996, as I looked through “My rose-colored glasses” at an image that appeared to reflect me I remember like it was yesterday, God spoke directly to me in a soft, gentle, audible and crystal clear voice and said “It is not my will!”

Crystal's writing career began as a small child as she spent most of her free time utilizing her God-given gift of writing. As she matured, God began to stir up the gift within her as he anointed her hands and her spoken words to inspire, encourage and minister to His people. Her heart's desire is to do the Lord's will. She walks daily by faith, trusting and believing God for everything.
