About the Book

This book is a whimsical look at twenty-six of the some of the world’s most obscure and wonderful creatures. Each page is dedicated to one specific creature and contains:

  • An outrageous title: the animal personified
  • An image of the animal in a unique setting
  • A poem specific to the animal
  • Where the animal may be found

While the primary intent of the book is to educate a child about some rare and wonderful creatures in a humorous manner, a secondary objective is to raise the level of awareness about the threat of extinction to many of the species.
