About the Book

Are you and your EX traveling on a rocky road? Do you feel there is constant strain and stress in your EX relationship? Have you really stopped to consider the affect this has on your children? You would be amazed at how much your children sense and internalize what is happening in the dysfunction of your separated family. Why should they get the raw end of the family split deal and endure most of the suffering and heartache? They shouldn’t, and I hope to help so that fewer do. Together, on our journey through this book, we’ll take a look at how you can keep your children’s best interests and emotional well being in your heart as you work to create a persistent and positive attitude when facing challenging situations in your new relationship with your EX. Compromises, communication, focus, resources, patience, and faith will help you realize that peace and happiness for all of you, yes even in a separated family, is definitely a possibility and a plus!

About the Author

David M. Zamora is not a doctor or a certified counselor. He is just a father from the Midwest. A father who, through life, has been a child of divorced parents, a divorced single father, a boyfriend father (you know, when you’re not married to a woman with children, and you’re the only father figure they know), a remarried father, a stepfather, and the very complicated biological father. He’s pretty much covered all the important fatherhood situations in life. David and his EX-wife are the best of friends and he feels this has truly had a positive impact on the life of his son. It wasn’t until he became a stepfather did he realize how badly a guide was needed to help men in divorced situations cope with the EX-wife/EX-husband hate and resentment aspects in a separated family. This book was written to bridge the gap and to bring back the smiles to families who have been separated by difference or divorce. He tells you just as it is, as if you were sitting at a bar, on the job, in the dugout, or at the neighborhood barbeque. He gives you practical ideas and strategies right from his heart and soul - just as he believes our kids see it. He wants you to understand and believe that you can be the best dad ever, and the most amazing EX-husband!
