About the Book

“Meet Lewis the Duck” is inspired by a true story from my childhood. Lewis and I began our special friendship many years ago at my family home in Lake Oswego, Oregon. My genuine and devoted duckling taught me many valuable lessons in life and friendship. I am truly thankful and proud to share this heart-warming story. My hope is for all my readers to find a special place in their hearts for my dear friend, Lewis the duck.

About the Author

Cherie Beatty resides in West Linn, Oregon with her Husband and two daughters.  This sentimental story is her first dabble into children’s books. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in art and photography. It is through this creative side and her love for children that she discovered her passion for writing and sharing her stories. She looks forward to creating more stories about Lewis and molly in the near future.
