He Heard My Prayer Th ere is a place by the river Where I would go each day To sit and watch the water As it raced along the way. I loved this beautiful river. One day I begin to pray Asking the Lord Jesus To wash my sins away. I know he heard my prayers Because He whispered to me, I have your sins, now you are free. By His grace He saved me. I have no fear as I go my way Giving thanks to God every day For the gift of Jesus and His love Sent down to me from Heaven above. Glenna M. My name is Glenna M. Baugh. I was born in Paris, Texas, but lived most of my adult life in California where I worked as a school secretary before moving back to Texas. Here I worked as a hospital librarian for many years. My Bob and I have been married for 37 years. We are both retired now, and I started writing poetry in 2004.
