The events recorded in this book are recollected memories of an eventful and sometimes a controversial life throughout the ‘seven ages’ from childhood to old age I have collected no information in libraries or anything else. At 21 years I got a nervous breakdown I got married at 23 and a half years and 10 and a half months later our first child was born but he died 3 and half months later. At 29 years of age my husband went into kidney failure on Easter Sunday and was treated in St Ann’s hospital in the Phoenix Park Dublin.
I dedicate this book to Dr Winston Psychiatrist Ardee Hospital Dr Mike Lester Hospital and all the staff of both hospitals especially Cathy Toal Lester Hospital. My Social Worker who was manager and who helped me through a very bad patch in my life. He always told you straight to your face what he thought of you and never allowed anyone to talk behind your back.
