My name is Odie. I’m an orange and white boy cat and I live on a small farm with two horses who share their barn with me and my best friend Bandit. Bandit is an older gray and white boy cat. Our girl lives on the farm too, and she looks after us all. One day in late summer, Bandit and I walked through our barn after playing in a field of tall grass. We passed by an empty horse stall filled with hay bales. We heard a soft noise and stopped to listen. We slipped under the stall door to find a little mother cat surrounded by her three new kittens!

About the Book
Odie and Bandit have both found a forever home on the farm with the horses and their girl who cares for them. When a stray cat has a litter of kittens in their barn, Odie and Bandit know they must help the new cats find a home too.
About the Author
Kristen Mott has loved animals since she was a child. She graduated in 2008 from the Indiana University School of Journalism. She now lives on a small farm in Indiana with her family, where she cares for Odie and Bandit, the horses, and a growing feline family.
