About the Author Marie Hayes Lowery graduated from Lourdesmont Academy and Immaculata College, and attended University of Montana. She is the mother of six, grandmother of thirteen and great-grandmother of two. She had management careers in advertising specialties and insurance. In her first children’s book she was inspired by the many fond memories of Christmas with her beloved children. Marie Hayes Lowery is currently in the process of her second children’s book titled: “Beau (Of Coffeepot Bayou) Meets a Friend. A story of a tiny squirrel who meets and makes many friends.
