About the Book

The soon to be released surrealism book called ULTRA MURDER deals with the CIA program called MK Ultra where the “Company” tried to create a truth serum using LSD as the main chemical component. In 1973 the director of the CIA, Richard Helms, ordered the files from MK Ultra to be destroyed. My book picks up from that point and mixes pharmacology and politics to create a world where young James gets involved in a test program to find a new mental illness drug and, only too late, finds out it is an Extra Sensory Perception drug that is hoped will give great advantage to spies in the shadowy world of espionage. James tries the drug and garners a dynamic and potent response. The rest is cops and robbers as James tries to get this new tool to the people most helpful to the cause of freedom and fairness. This great drug happening that so helps out James is what others have been waiting centuries to happen. Two stealth operatives have been calling out over the sands of time to bring humanity to a crucial tipping point and the friends of James find themselves petitioned to join a greater collective of like minded individuals. When viewed from the perspective of mirth it is “Psychedelia at Area 51 flying UFOs to Columbia”. The real heavy questions of existential purpose in life get discussed in a general and relaxed fashion. Humor is involved. A dark humor is there. Enjoy if at all possible.

About the Author

This is a self published book and I wrote it. I had a lot of fun with it and it is not meant as realism. It is not even existentialism. It is surreal and that is so for some very simple reasons. We live in an era of disinformation and the government does not address drug and alcohol questions with an understanding of what can be done or even what should be done. In the arena of therapy for drug use there are some real lines to be drawn. I, myself, have used short order soft drugs for years and was never tempted to use more serious drugs so I never spent money on those harder, more addiction oriented drugs. The new concept of Decriminalization through so-called “Harm Reduction” holds great promise as a new philosophy for limited legalization. Here are a few facts on that issue. This book is packed with folklore of drug and alcohol use. It is a text of the people, by the people and for the people. It is a novel entity and can breathe and live on its own. This book is commentary rather than just a list of facts found in a debate. It is more cartoon than encyclopedia. I live in south Minnesota, near the city of Mankato and I attended school at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. I cooked at the famed Seward Café and am a veteran of both the Marines and the oilfield in Evanston Wyoming. I avidly collect science fiction books and study future governments whenever I can.
