About the Book

Poetry that moves, poetry that challenges, poetry that can bring a smile to your face, and poetry that releases people’s fears and frustrations is as rare as hen’s teeth, but that is what we have here. Nothing so deep that it needs a degree in theology to understand it, and nothing so trite that you want to discard it.

Stewart French writes with sincerity, and an understanding borne of his joint experiences of personal isolation, as well as being part of a loving family; borne of his experiences of redundancy and relative success, and springing from his personal faith, nurtured by those in the fellowship of his local church, and by many others in the wider church.

In this short book, Stewart touches on key dates in the Christian calendar, as well as reaching the emotions as he faces, and documents, his personal doubts, fears and frustrations. All poems, hymns and articles included in this book are the Copyright of the author, and whilst they may be used for public worship or broadcasting, Stewart asks that they are not lent, copied, retrieved, stored or reproduced without prior permission. About the Author

"The poet long lay sleeping! It was not until he was almost into his forties that Stewart French first put poetry to paper. It was during a time of feeling separated from God that he first wrote anything resembling poetry. Since then Stewart has found a real release, and a way of communicating to others that which is real. The poems, and prose, which flowed from his pen have been read in public worship in different continents, they have brought pleasure and challenge to some , have opened doors to spiritual and emotional release for others and - on one occasion - one of the articles contained herein helped overcome reluctance for someone to take the step of faith and be baptised. Stewart has been married to Gwen for almost forty years, and is a member of a small, but loving, Methodist/URC Fellowship in Ashford, Kent in the UK. He has been involved in the wider Christian Church through the Full Gospel Fellowship (for which he was Chapter President for some 7 years), Churches Together in Ashford (where he served as Chairman) and various other, low profile means. With Gwen he is a father of three, and grandfather to a growing number of children." Please can you advise me of the acytions and timings for the next stage because this is all a new venture to me
