OOPS! A War Story for Children is not really for children, but a simplified balcony view of the Vietnam War, politics and the invasion of Cambodia from one sailor's viewpoint. It was written and illustrated by the author, HL Serra, who spent two years in the Vietnam combat zone.
About the Author
| HL Serra served under VADM Elmo Zumwalt as Naval Intelligence Liaison Officer (NILO) in Ha Tien, Vietnam on the Cambodian border in 1970. He practices law and is a law professor in San Diego, California, and has lectured at the Office of Naval Intelligence in Washington DC. He can be reached at hlserra@sbcglobal.net. He is also the author of NILO Ha Tien- A Novel of Naval Intelligence in Cambodia, and a play, The Sihanoukville Inquiry, both available from Author House. |
