Katrina L. Robinson, a phenomenal empowerment lecturer, author, preacher and single parent lives a commitment to improving the lives of poverty stricken individuals. The teen parent turned college graduate and empowerment speaker has much to say about the journey from a poverty mentality into REACHING FULL POTENTIAL. The road to transition from welfare to entrepreneurship was not easy, but Katrina Robinson is committed to sharing the intimate details of her personal and career successes and failures. Once homeless, sleeping in a Ford Taurus, experiencing bad relationships, rape, abortion, single parenting and being adopted she has much to say. As a single mother of two, she is acquainted with the challenges of responsibility, discipline, parenthood and perseverance. “Potential is much more than a career, it’s learning hope, building self-esteem, discipline, and thinking before you choose intimacy. A brighter tomorrow often starts with saying no today.” Her self-published book entitled “Poverty to Potential” was launched out of a series of workshops developed under the Federal Welfare to Work Initiative in MD. The book has evolved into workshops, quarterly conferences, and now inter-state meetings. Poverty to Potential also has a marketing enterprise and weight loss branches.
