Terrified, he rose up out of the water, gaping at the carnage lying around him. Running forward over the lifeless bodies he fell flat on his stomach, firing his rifle blindly at the cliff ahead; terror-filled gibberish streaming from his lips. Looking back, he gazed on a scene of unimaginable horror, with the gently rolling surf around the landing craft turning red with blood from his comrades floating in it. He recognised his commander slumped against the side of it; his uniform stained with blood oozing from his wounds.
The ground in front suddenly erupted; he was in the sights of the enemy. Panic gripped him as he leapt to his feet, bobbing and weaving instinctively as the bullets hissed past him. A sudden heavy punch in his side sent him spinning to the ground, where he lay temporarily dazed. He felt a warm trickling sensation beneath his clothes, accompanied by a burning feeling deep within.
Gazing up at the sky he saw, in the periphery of his vision, more landing crafts spewing men out onto the beach. Looking across the sand his vision began to blur, the sound of the battle slowly fading. The scene seemed to take on a surreal mood, with his comrades-in-arms appearing to perform macabre dances as the merciless bullets ripped into them.

Judy watched the intensity of the shaft of light rise up from Delise and pierce the celestial realm above. The content of the prayer was not for the sender, but the sender’s concern for another. From that moment, the evil minion was powerless to continue with its plan. Delise had demonstrated her belief, once again, in the existence of the Divine Being, and had put her life on the line in light of that belief. When feeling herself to be under threat, it was her first thought to ask for his help— such was her faith.
The Divine Being appeared and smiled at Judy. It was all the acknowledgement Judy needed, knowing the plan she had conceived could now be executed. From the realms of the spiritual dimension, Judy summoned the spirit of a creature from the wild. Materializing as a snow-fox it appeared in front of Delise, now huddled and shivering by the hedgerow.

About the Book
In the final book of The Cyannian Trilogy, I infer that humanity on the virgin world, Avataria, will follow a life-style similar to Earth. Not simply because the people of Earth have seeded it, but that I am influenced in my belief that the basic constituents and mechanisms to support the physical life exist everywhere in the universe. The three books of the Cyannian Trilogy, describe an evolutionary cycle of events that suggest the inhabitants of Earth are descendants of a successfully proven civilisation. Having seeded Earth, this civilisation is then governed by a universal protocol that forbids them to interfere with the learning processes on this new world. The final book takes the reader into the spiritual dimension, where they witness the lives of the young spirits undergoing their trials on this new world. Their spiritual guides are now proven souls who had lived on Earth in the first two books.
About the Author
Since writing the first two books, Cataclysm Earth and Heritage from Cyan, the author continues to focus on a plan to try and help needy people. He believes the demise humanity faces today must be addressed by a united world. Over a period of some sixty years or so, his belief in the life beyond has developed to the extent he now has an intuitive ability to liaise with those in it, (thanks to the psychic skills imparted to him by his mother and friends— spiritual mediums) The prophecy of his writing continues with this final book of The Cyannian Trilogy, and seeks to share a little of the information that he has been privy to from beyond, along with the hopes it will realise the resources to complete his plan. He continues to possess a reverent respect and belief in the Maker, and follows the doctrines laid down by him to guide his life.
