pigboy (pig'boi) n. 1. A man, young man, or boy whose job on a farm involves the care, feeding, and cleaning up after hogs, swine, or boars, a role characterized by wearing of durable waterproof protective clothing often including a jacket and boots or waders, usually black.
2. A fun-loving young man or boy who enjoys wallowing or playing in dirt, mud, and muck, often at the expense of, and with little regard for, his clothing, hair, and general appearance.
3. A combination of the previous two.

Brian Douglas Ahern, perhaps best known for his long-running cartoons such as "The Adventures of Bumpkin Buzz" returns to the world of photography with his second installment of the lighthearted portrait collection PIGBOYS.
With enormously positive response worldwide to the first PIGBOYS volume, Brian Ahern has gathered up an entirely new batch of eager models who were more than ready to dude up in boots and slickers and have fun in the role of messy farm lads.
But beyond different cartoon and comic book works currently under way, Brian Ahern also has plans for other upcoming photo collections, including a third installment of PIGBOYS, which already has more than half its content captured on film.
