About the Author

George D. Yarberry is known as an expert in distribution management. He has more than thirty years’ experience in running large distribution centers. He has been involved in distribution startups, which included installation of WMS, automation enhancements, mechanization process, and 2.5 million square feet of construction. He has been very successful in developing managers throughout the years. Yarberry has been known to have the top distribution centers in the industry. During his career, his centers have finished in the top spot on numerous occasions. He has been a member of the Council of Logistics, WERC, and President of Industrial Committees. He also served in the U.S. Army and is a Vietnam veteran, receiving the bronze star. “The ability to get results in the workplace is no secret; you make things simple,” says Yarberry. The skills of working through people, improving performance levels, and working by objectives is priceless.
