About the Book

                                    About The Book

LEAVING SOUTH CAROLINA is the true story of a young boys move to South Carolina, and, as he grew to manhood, his search for the meaning and purpose of life with friends and classmates who aspired to greatness - one grew up to be a Hollywood producer, another Chief Justice of the South Carolina Supreme Court. It is a story of faith and hope and perserverance; a story of kidnapping, nearly fatal auto accidents, murder, suicide, and the search for love and success.

It is a story that includes the bravery of one member of "The Greatest Generation" ("The Lone Bomber of Rabaul") and the colorful politics of West Texas; a story of crashing on a sofa in author Micky Spillane's home one night in Myrtle Beach to crashing in an automobile and spending two days in a coma.

In addition to being an autobiography LEAVING SOUTH CAROLINA is a book that warns of a probable major earthquake and the destruction of much of Los Angeles from a major earthquake in less than four years. Some have already left LA to avoid this. LSC is the story of the death of the dollar or its near demise. The author tells why after 17 years of study he believes the financial crisis that is coming will be World-Wide and of unprecedented size and duration, the greatest financial storm of the millennium, a chaos that will last more than a decade and eventually result in the disappearance of money as the world knows it.
Some of the spiritual discoveries or experiences of the author are included and last, but not least, this book may reveal why SETI (the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence) has not succeeded in all these years. Yes, such life exists but it is VERY FAR AWAY.
