About the Book

The most pressing question, other than who he was, is why did Jack the Ripper disappear so suddenly after killing seven prostitutes in Whitechapel in the East End of London in 1888.

This book gives a very plausible explanation for this burning question and you will find it in the intense story from the beginning of the small Novella, to the end of its very few pages. You may ask why a Novella? The answer is the story is so disturbing it does not possible lend itself to the length of the standard full-blown novel.

The narrator of the story, Lily, is a “Tiger Lily” as you will find out. Lord help us, she likes Jack and is the only one in all of England who knows who he is. She is a singer and dancer at The Cur and Flea, a common girl but with an exceptional probing brain and a gift of second sight that allows her to read people on first meeting very accurately as to their motives and behaviors. She would have been a fine psychiatrist in the modern era.

This book may look innocent but it comes right from hell and will be in your mind and soul long after you have read it to the end and put it down.

Come back to London at the end of the nineteenth century and be a voyeur in the fog, as the shadow of Jack the Ripper once more flies down the streets leaving behind blood, mayhem, and grisly murders that are still legendary. We dare you.

About the Author

I would like to use this space to just list my books that are available at 1st Books Library and at all bookstores on line and the new ones that will soon be available at my website that is soon to come.

Bara Bey - suspense among the pyramids, the sphinx and the Egyptian desert. He has a mission but he doesn't realize it comes right from hell.

The Blue Nile - A twisted and involved mystery of the old fashioned English variety. Pit your brain against that of Inspector McQueen and find he is more flawed then you are.

The Friggin' Altos - This send-up of The Sopranos was a radio program that ran in South Florida. It is funny, silly, about a gang who can't whack anyone correctly.

Oh, Say Can You Die! - A tribute to my husband ~and the cover-up by everyone responsible for his death from Asbestos Cancer contracted in the Biscane Annex Post Office in Miami, Florida

Silvio! - written with Steve Safron. The story of a boy who is charged by his grandfather to avenge his uncle's death by killing the don in his own neighborhood who shot his uncle in Sicily twenty years earlier.

MY JACK - a haunting novella about Jack the Ripper that is disturbing to read.
