Crown Princes : Satan and Leviathan Accuser of the Brethren and God of Self

In the Satanic Bible there are four books: The Book of Satan, The Book of Lucifer, The Book of Belial, and The Book of Leviathan. These separate personalities are an imitation of the Godhead by whom the foundations of the world were framed, and are said to rule over the four corners of the earth. Belial is called the “crown prince of the North”, Satan is said to be the “crown prince of the South”, Lucifer is the “crown prince of the East”, and Leviathan is called the “crown prince of the West”. Divide the world into four hemispheres with the equator and prime meridian being your separation lines.  Most of South America falls inside of the Southern and Western Hemisphere, while North America falls in the Western and Northern Hemisphere. If Satan and Leviathan preside over the Southern and Western Hemisphere, then it is imperative to know what His main objectives have been in that territory. To find this out we must define who Satan and Leviathan are, what they represent, and how they are affecting people world wide.

In the Hebrew Old Testament the Negev or south is a part of the Israeli state. The Negev covers the territory from the Judean highlands to the Arabian Desert criss-crossing to form a natural obstacle. This obstacle is what stopped the Israelites from entering the Promised Land from the south (Unger, “South”). The west referred to the Mediterranean Sea and the area west of Palestine (ISBE: Day, “West”). Many of the same things that stopped the children of Israel from entering the Promised Land are still hindering the children of God from receiving their full inheritance today. They are either stopped at the sea or stuck in the wilderness. “Who has interfered with you to hold you back from following the truth? It certainly isn't God, for he is the one who called you to freedom” (Gal 5:7b-8 NLT).

Satan is known as the “crown prince of the South” but the Bible calls him “the prince of this world”. As Satan he is pictured as an enormous fiery red dragon that had seven heads and ten horns” who captured the allegiance of a third of the angels, and was hurled down to earth after losing his place in heaven. Later he is cast into the Abyss. (Rev 12:3-7; 20:2). Leviathan is described as a dragon with more than one head, and also as a fleeing serpent, which is very similar in description to Satan the “serpent of old” and the “old dragon”. Are they the same creature? This is possible because Satan is able to transform himself into “an angel of light”, a serpent, and a dragon (2 Cor 11:14). Satan is his Hebrew name, but he is also called the god of this age, adversary and devourer (1 Peter 5:8), opponent, arch enemy of God and man, enemy of good, tempter, the great fiery red dragon (Rev 12:3), great dragon, serpent of old, devil, evil one, accuser (Rev 12:9-11), seducer, slanderer, murderer, executioner, and father of all lies (John 8:44-45).

Satan is the “self god” and passionately desires worship, which he actively pursues through the complete corruption of the ego of mankind. The ego is “the psyche experienced as the ‘self’ or ‘I’. It is the part that remembers, evaluates, plans, and in other ways is responsive to and acts in the surrounding physical and social world” (Britannica, “Ego”). When our thoughts and actions follow his plans he receives it as worship. In character, he is aggressive, offensive, impulsive, domineering, physical, rebellious, malicious, hateful, restless, deceptive, and forceful. His desire is to pervert pure worship of God, and promote deceptive worship of himself.

Scholars envision leviathan as a reptile-like sea monster describing him as a crocodile, dragon, or dinosaur. The dragon is a legendary reptilian monster similar in form to a crocodile and usually represented as having wings, huge claws, and fiery breath. Lavah is a root of the word livyathan, which means to twine, to unite, to remain, abide with, cleave, and join yourself with (Strong’s, “Leviathan”). Leviathan ties or joins us in an unholy soul tie to pride and shields itself with destructive self-spirits. He winds tightly around us as a rope to suffocate us. Leviathan is twisted meaning perverse (Isaiah 27). He is stealing the glory that God should receive through us and from us by causing us to look inward and bestow that glory upon ourselves.

Leviathan is described as having a back that is tightly covered with scales that resemble shields clinging together; they are so close no air can get through them. He sneezes flashes of light, smoke pours from his nostrils, and flames of fire burst forth from his mouth. He has an extremely strong neck, and his chest is as hard as rock. He is terrifying when he rises up. When he thrashes about it is so intimidating that those who are armed with a sword, spear, or javelin will retreat because their weapons are useless against him. His underside is jagged and sharp; it cuts deep into the mud leaving a trail. When he moves through the sea he causes it to churn creating a wake of white foam. Nothing on earth is his equal. He has no fear, his heart is as hard as stone. He overlooks every creature that is haughty; he is king over all the children of pride (Job 41:15-34).

The prince of this world will be completely driven out because the time of judgment is quickly approaching and he already stands condemned (John 16:11). Until then we must continue to fight the good fight of faith and separate ourselves from the hand of the enemy so we can live in freedom. The day will surely come when our accuser will be overcome and cast down by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. Then he will be bound a thousand years and then cast into the lake of fire (Rev 12:10, Rev 20). The demise of the dragon is sure. It is described in Psalms, Isaiah, and in Revelation. “It was You who crushed the heads of Leviathan and gave him as food to the creatures of the desert” (Ps 74:14 NIV). “In that day the LORD with His severe sword, great and strong, will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; and He will slay the reptile that is in the sea” (Isaiah 27:1). “He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so tha
