Conrad Jones
Jerusalem is the final part of the trilogy, but not the last of the `Tank` books. There are a minimum of three left to come !
The plot begins with a sustained attack on security service personnel on both sides of the Atlantic. A syncronised three prong attack with radioactive dispersal devices, or dirty bombs, against New York, Liverpool and of course the holy city of Jerusalem. The nefarious Yasser Ahmed returns to haunt `Tank`, if you enjoyed reading parts one and two, then this is a MUST read !!
Conrad Jones is a 42 year old Author, who lives in Warrington, Cheshire. He worked in senior management at McDonalds Restaurants Ltd from 1989-2002. On march 23rd 1993 he was managing the Restaurant in Warrington`s Bridge St when two Irish Republican Army bombs exploded directly outside the store, resulting in the death of two young boys and many casualties. Along with hundreds of other people there that day Conrad was deeply affected by the attack, which led to a long term interest in the motivation and mind set of terrorists.
Later years turned his focus to tensions in the Middle East and beyond. The rise of Islamic Extremism and its determined Mujahideen fighters is the focus of Soft Target, which was published and is selling well despite not being represented. The title and the Author have been featured in six regional newspapers, and three BBC Radio interviews.
The Soft Target novels are based around a character called John Tankersley, nicknamed Tank. He is the lead agent of the Terrorist Task Force, which is an elite Special Forces group tasked with wiping out terrorist attacks internationally. The trilogy is selling but is still the property of the Author. Conrad feels that `Tank` has any number of potential plots left. At the moment he is on target to complete the fourth in just over twelve months from beginning part one. Ultimately I am looking for someone to represent the existing Soft Target novels, and commision the writing of future ones.
