'What A Pet?' "Mommy," Darrell called through the partially opened window, "Jimmy says the brown dog was picked up by the mean old dog catcher. Can we go get him?" "Darrell", that man is not mean. He is just doing his job and no we can't go get him," she said as she went back to cleaning the vegetables.
'The Wedding' I'll get it," Jennie told Allie as she jumped up. She ran down the stairs and said, "Hi, I'll get it," as she passed the door to the kitchen where her mom and dad sat drinking coffee and reading the paper. She peered through the peephole even though she knew it would be Jeff."
